Happy weekending!

Amazing applique and embroidery art from Louise Saxton. I think I need to make one of these for Easter. This is gorgeous, not only in design, but with the re-use of discarded denim. Happy weekending!
If you're following along with the SewMamaSew Handmade Holiday series, you'll see that it finished up yesterday. I think the Foxy roundup on Sunday Nov 29 was my favorite. There are lots of great ideas for everyone on your list. Don't forget to check the archives for the past 8 years. I thought I would add a free tutorial roundup of my own, in case those ideas weren't enough to keep you busy for the next 4 weeks. These are some of my all-time favorite gifts that I've given in past years. The Gathered Clutch Tutorial from Anna at Noodle-Head. This list is ever-changing as I discover new blogs, or find a blogger going in a completely different/new direction that isn't relevant to me anymore. Some of them focus on parenting, some on living a simpler lifestyle, some have business models that inspire or teach me to run my business better, and then there are loads of blogs that deal with sewing. Some are treasure troves of tutorials, some have high level technique to which I aspire (it's always good to challenge yourself from time to time), some are just beautiful and worthy of admiration. Grab your favorite cuppa and browse a while. What is your favorite blog to read? Becoming Minimalist
